ANCONA – Moments of panic in the late afternoon in the center due to a fight between foreigners that broke out in Piazza Roma. The toll is one arrest and two complaints. Ending up in handcuffs was an 18-year-old Asian man who was caught while ordering food at a Kebab with a credit card stolen from one of the litigants.
The police and Carabinieri intervened jointly to quell the fight, at the request of passers-by who were frightened by the scene that took place in the middle of the afternoon rush. Once on site, agents and soldiers separated the group of contenders, but when taking their personal details, two of them rebelled and refused to show their documents.
There were also pushes against the police and in the end the two, a 30-year-old and a 39-year-old, were stopped and reported for resisting and insulting a public official. In the meantime, the search continued because the other litigants had run away. One of them, an 18-year-old Asian man, was found inside a shop selling kebabs in the center while paying the bill with the card stolen from one of the people involved in the fight. Handcuffs were placed on his wrists, on charges of improper use of the card.
