On Sunday 21 April, at 11am, the Teatro S. Giorgio hosts an important event as part of the “Philosophy in the city“, curated by the Italian Philosophical Society – FVG APS Section with the support of the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia.

The meeting will see the philosophers Rosella Prezzo and Eleonora de Conciliis discuss, moderated by Beatrice Bonato, on the topic of birth in the contemporary era. Price, author of “Birth plots. Between myths, philosophies, images and stories“, will explore the multiple representations and symbols linked to the event of birth. De Conciliis, author of “Sloterdijk Suite. Expansion and reduction of the human”, will instead address the implications of modern reproductive techniques that allow the separation of gestation from the maternal body.

Entrance is free, but reservations are required by sending an email to [email protected].
