The young athletes of coach Roberta BRUNO’s ASD VIP CLUB of Civitavecchia participated in the Csain National Championship last weekend with 2 athletes in the “U10 children” category and one in the “U12 boys” category.
The event saw the participation of companies from all over Italy, who competed in two competitive specialties, without distinction of style or school of thought, that of Kata (forms) and Kumite (fighting).
On Saturday the various phases of the competition saw small athletes practicing the discipline of Kumite (fighting) competing on the same tatami, a real confrontation/non-clash with an opponent/companion which aims at the growth and mutual study of the two athletes , to improve from a technical, mental and above all moral point of view.
The Civitavecchia team, which trains at the VIP Club gym, in Largo Giocondo de Dominicis, participated in the competition with Jacopo de Girolamo (bronze medal in U12 kumite), and with Nicolò de Girolamo and Andrea Mariani (bronze medals in U10 kumite ).
The entire staff of the ASD Vip Club Civitavecchia is extremely satisfied with this result obtained by the little karatekas, who represent the beginning of a new team of agonists.
Excellent performance also in the female Senior Kata for Cristina Prudente.
Dario Baccello from Civitavecchia, Black Belt and kumite competitor, a lifelong student of Master Enrico BRUNO, was called as Official of the competition.
