Welcoming the invitation of Claudio Corbino, President and founder of the “Diplomats” association, our Vice President and CEO Vincenzo Grella participated yesterday, in the Catania headquarters of the prestigious international training centre, in the conference “Youth and Sport: what values for education and inclusiveness?”. Among the speakers, also the Mayor of Catania Enrico Trantino And Marco TardelliItalian world champion in 1982 and today Goodwill Ambassador of CWMUN (Change the World Model United Nations).
The vice president and CEO of Catania Vincenzo Grella observe: “By displaying the newly won Serie C Italian Cup here, we wanted to pay homage to these brilliant young people and at the same time express a profound conviction: the successes and progress of a club are important for the territory, and the club has the duty to guarantee our support for the development of the best initiatives, because football is an important part of the life of this community”.
Claudio Corbino points out: “I am extremely happy with this meeting of our kids, many of whom have just returned from their experience in New York and the United Nations, with Marco Tardelli and Vincenzo Grella. Diplomatici has always believed that sport is the best vehicle to reach the hearts of young people and make them passionate about the great values that sport and football are an expression of: I believe that Catania can play, also for this reason, a fundamental role for our city ”.
