The 35-year-old from Teramo accused of raping his ex-partner’s youngest daughter was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months with an abbreviated sentence in a preliminary hearing before judge Lorenzo Prudenzano of the Teramo court. Defended by the lawyers Libera D’Amelio and Roberto Rossoli, the man was convicted of sexual acts with a minor over the age of fourteen and aggravated sexual violence, perpetrated “abusing the trust gained from the girl in his capacity as her mother’s ex-partner”. The lawyer Marina Di Carlo acted as a civil party for the family. The accused was able to take advantage of the one-third discount on the sentence guaranteed by the abbreviated procedure.
The episode occurred during a dinner that the man organized with the girl at his home, to celebrate her recently passed birthday. A meeting to which her mother had agreed precisely by virtue of her anniversary but which quickly turned into a nightmare for her young girl. In fact, the man abused the girl first on her sofa, then taking her to the bedroom “regardless of the refusal of her younger girl”.
