At the end of another week of chaos that began with the dismissal of Beppe Iachini and the entrusting of the technical guidance to Federico Giampaolo, former Primavera coach, Bari is awaiting the very delicate home match against Pisa valid for the 34th matchday of B series.
Saturday 20th April at 2pm is an appointment of crucial importance for the red and whites who at the end of last day, after the defeat on the Como pitch, ended up in sixteenth place in the play-out zone, extending their streak of games without a win to eight (with just two points scored). With a similar roadmap the goal of salvation becomes really difficult, also for this reason the sporting director Ciro Polito tried the move of desperation by promoting the Primavera coach, who became the fourth Galletti coach of the season after Mignani, Marino and Iachini.

In the stands, according to what was announced by the organized supporters, the protest against the De Laurentiis family will temporarily leave room for unconditional support for the team since in this situation the only objective is to save the category. A truce that is not a surrender to an ownership judged responsible for a disastrous season on all fronts, from the technical to the communicative one (the latest gaffe was the presentation of two limited edition shirts, with the team right in the relegation zone).
How Bari arrives
For his debut on the red and white bench Federico Giampaolo will have Kallon at his disposal who has recovered from his knee problems and is back training with the group. Captain Di Cesare and Sibilli also return after serving a one-match suspension. However, the injured Diaw and Guiebre are absent. It is difficult to hypothesize which players will be deployed, starting with the goalkeeper (Brenno has a slight advantage over Pissardo who had nevertheless performed well against Como). One thing seems certain and that is the return of the four-man defense which will probably be made up of Pucino, Di Cesare, Vicari and Ricci. In midfield there should be Maita and Benali with one of Bellomo or Lulic to complete the unit. Sibilli will move behind the strikers who should be Puscas and Aramu.
How Pisa arrives
Alberto Aquilani will not have Torregrossa available but will recover Caracciolo, Canestrelli and Leverbe who have served their suspension. The first two will be at the center of the defense completed by Calabresi on the right and Beruatto on the left. In the median space for Marin and Esteves, in the attacking midfield the former D’Alessandro, Valoti and Arena are likely to be used behind Bonfanti.
