ADRIA (Rovigo) – The Carabinieri of the Adria Company and the Forestry Carabinieri of the Punta Marina – Ravenna Biodiversity Group met the children and teachers of the primary school “Vittorino da Feltre” which is based in the municipality of Adria as part of the project “Culture of legality” and the national environmental education project “A tree for the future”.
The meeting was a favorable opportunity to give young students advice and useful information for living consciously and responsibly. The Forestry Carabinieri provided young people with information on nature, to stimulate sustainable daily behaviors aimed at achieving balance with the natural environment.
During the meeting, three trees born and cultivated in nurseries managed by the Forestry Carabinieri were planted in the school garden. Also it was donated to the school “Falcone’s Tree”symbol of legality, which is part of the initiative to grow the “Great widespread forest” of legality, with the aim of increasing personal awareness on the issues of environmental conservation, social commitment and the fight against mafias.
The children participated with active and constructive dialogue, asking questions to the Carabinieri.
