The mayor of Bari Antonio Decaro, this afternoon signed the decree appointing Dr. Vincenzo Buono, member of the Board of Directors of Amiu Puglia and, by virtue of the Shareholders’ Agreements between the members of the Municipality of Bari and the Municipality of Foggia, it is determined that the functions of president of the administrative body are attributed to the engineer. Antonella Lomoro, current member of the Board of Directors. The designations will be subject to ratification at the next social meeting.
“I thank the mayor Antonio Decaro for the trust placed in me, in a particularly delicate moment” declares the new president Lomoro. “For me this is a great honor, which takes on an even deeper meaning because I am the first woman to hold this position. I also want to thank the outgoing president Paolo Pate for the great work done in this year and a half at the helm of Amiu Puglia. His resignation is exclusively the result of a very high sense of responsibility and respect for the institutions.
I will continue the work we undertook together on the Board of Directors, on which I have sat since 2017 with pride and commitment.
The months to come will be full of new challenges that we will face with the usual spirit of service.”
The Dr. Buono, a veterinarian, returns to the board of directors of Amiu Puglia, of which he had already been a member from 2004 to 2011 and from 2016 to 2020
