Serious accident in the Piazza Risorgimento area Gallarate: pedestrians were hit at pedestrian crossing in Via 20 Settembre.
It happened shortly after 7pm today, Friday 19 April. A medical car and ambulance from the Gallarate Red Cross intervened on site, as well as the police.
The vehicles are activated in code red: they were rescued 45 year old man and a little girl.
Until 8pm the lane from Via Borghi to Piazza Risorgimento and the only entrance from Piazza Risorgimento towards the station were closed to traffic to allow rescue operations. The lane towards the station was reopened from 8pm.
