At the end of the regular season and a few days before the start of the championship play-offs, the red and white president Massimo Giagnorio recounted his impressions in this letter:
“We worked so hard to get here and to achieve the objectives set, now comes the best part: on Sunday our play-off journey begins and we will face a historic club with many established football players and with an incredible list of successes. I am aware of the value of our team and I have complete faith in our girls.
First of all, I would like to thank the sponsors who supported us this season, thanks to them we were able to face this championship at such a high level. I invite all entrepreneurs in the area to embrace our project to continue to grow together, to establish themselves at high levels. I thank mister Diego Iessi and his staff for the great work done, for having given a beautiful game to the team and for having valorised some young Italian footballers, coming from the lower categories, demonstrating that they can compete in the top flight.
I thank the club that has always been by my side in this historic season and Marcello Martino for having set up a top-class roster.
I thank all the players for the professionalism and attachment to the shirt shown this season.
I thank the fans who gave us an extra boost, filling the stands of the Palapoli and being the sixth man on the pitch.
During these months we have shown that we can compete with everyone and the direct clashes with GTM Montesilvano see us on perfect parity. We arrive at this event with a bit of ailments but they are races that give special motivation and that anyone would like to play. I am sure that the girls will take to the field giving their maximum effort, honoring the shirt to bring home a positive result.
