CORIGLIANO-ROSSANO – The 2024-2026 financial forecast budget was approved in the city council. The measure was approved by the majority with the favorable votes of the opposition councilors Costantino Baffa, Francesco Madeo and Rosellina Madeo. Councilors Adele Olivo, Luigi Promenzio and Vincenzo Scarcello are against. Councilor Gennaro Scorza abstained.
The minimal delay in the approval of the Accounting Document by the Board is mainly due to the wait for the publication of the amounts of the tax transfers by the Ministry of the Interior which allow the financing of various chapters of current and unrestricted expenditure, with the exception for the Municipal Solidarity Fund, published at the end of 2023 and also recently updated and adjusted.
The budget closes in balance with both the current part and the capital part and in particular for the current part income and expenditure balance at 91,734,126.43 euros including the Pluriannual Restricted Fund which finances the commitments whose collectability was deferred during the reassessment ordinary of the residuals to subsequent financial years.
During the council meeting, the following preparatory documents were preliminarily approved: Three-year plan for public works 2024-2026, annual list 2024 and two-year program for the purchase of supplies and services 2024-2026, approved with City Council Resolution no. 424 of 11.22.2023 and included in the DUP 2024-2026; resolution of the City Council n. 44 of 05/31/2023, relating to the approval of the tariffs for the TARI component (waste tax) for the year 2023 referred to in article 1, paragraph 683 of law 27 December 2013, n. 147; resolution of the Municipal Council n. 41 of 02/29/2024, with which the tourist tax rates were confirmed, pursuant to art. 5 of the current regulation, already approved with Municipal Council Resolution no. 207 of 05/25/2023; the Municipal Council Resolution no. 54 of 02/29/2024 with which the annual tariffs already in force for the previous year for the Single Property Rent were confirmed for the year 2024; resolution of the Municipal Council n.40 of 02/29/2024, relating to the confirmation and approval of the tariffs for the municipal nursery service, year 2024; the 2024-2026 Real Estate Sales and Development Plan, referred to in art.58 of Legislative Decree 06.25.2018 and n.112 converted by law n.133 of 08.06.2008, included in the DUP 2024-2026; the 2023-2025 Three-Year Plan for the identification of measures aimed at rationalizing the operating expenses of the Municipality of Corigliano-Rossano, referred to in article 2, paragraphs 594-599, of law no. 244/2007, included in the DUP 2024-2026.
As regards planning and relevant documents for the purposes of the tax policy of the entity and preparatory to the drafting and approval of the 2024 Budget, the tariffs and rates of all taxes have been confirmed (Municipal Surcharge, IMU, Tourist Tax, CUP ) and the tariffs of services and income of a patrimonial nature (WATER, school transport, school canteen, etc) with the exception of the TARI for which the 2024 PEF has been prepared with the relevant tariffs.
