Sunday 5 May the Municipality of Samarate will celebrate the “Citizen’s Day of Gratitude”with the delivery ceremony of the “Civic Recognition of the City of Samarate” to a series of people.
A public certification and valorization of the most meritorious actions in the institutional, cultural, social, sporting, recreational, associative, voluntary, business, work, arts and professions fields that have contributed in the past and contribute today to promoting the image and values of the Samarata community. «Samarate is a hotbed of great charactersthose worthy of being publicly recognized” declared the mayor Enrico Puricelli.
It’s been a long time since the awards were handed outthe possibility of reporting people and situations was closed last October.
In all they will be rewarded around twenty citizens and associations active in various fields, for the work in 2022 and 2023in very different contexts, from the pandemic to the refugee emergency, passing through “lifetime achievement” awards and environmental volunteering.
The ceremony will take place at 4.00 pm, in the Sala Azzuzza of Villa Montevecchio in Samarate (driveway entrance from via Lazzaretto) and, after the delivery, there will be refreshments.
