New appointment of the series of meetings “Infused words. Beyond differences” promoted by the collective “Plural Voices” and by the association Apeiron. Appointment Tuesday April 23 at 8.30pm Ubik bookstore of Cesena with the pedagogist Alessia Dulbecco which presents the new book “It’s always been done this way! Ideas for gender pedagogy” (Edizioni Tlon).

The book talks about the assumption that the gender binary – the rigid separation of what is considered masculine and feminine – is internalized to such an extent that it is considered natural and biological, and strengthened by the tradition of the assumption “it has always been done this way”. And therefore the pink or blue bow, the dolls or toy cars, the injunction to docility or courage at all costs, that is, the stereotyping of education and play from a very early age, in fact limits people’s lives from childhood, limiting their characteristics and potential and creating inconveniences which can also influence adult life.

He will dialogue with the author Marianna Tonellatolawyer and feminist activist and former mayor of Castrocaro.

The training course is also starting, again promoted by Apeiron “You at the center” conducted by Silvia Abramianthropologist and life coach expert in problem solving strategic e counselor relational. It’s about six meetings (starting from May) aimed at 20 women in the area of ​​Cesena and its surroundings to strengthen one’s self-esteem and find one’s direction. The aim of the journey is to help each participant get to know themselves in a completely new way, put themselves back at the centre, relieve themselves of burdens and frustrations and feel strong and confident again. Each woman will be accompanied to rebuild a relationship with herself based on listening, esteem and trust to have a clear and concrete idea of ​​what she wants to achieve.
