Salerno. Documents notified by Soget in the absence of a contract with the Municipality. Presented to the Public Prosecutor’s Office

Contract expired, no extension, absence of suitable title relating to the legitimacy to collect from SOGET. The company that was responsible for the collection of taxes on behalf of the Municipality of Salerno continued to notify documents to citizens and promote enforcement actions including administrative seizures of registered movable assets and seizures by third parties without, however, having any power and in the absence of total tax legitimacy . A fact highlighted by the APS Citizen Defense Movement of Salerno with a complaint to the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of Salerno, to the Regional Court of Auditors and for information to the Prefect of Salerno and the Ministry of Finance. In approximately 2 and a half years, from the expiry of SOGET’s contract with the Municipality of Salerno, in December 2020, until May 2023 (when, however, the contract with the new concessionaire was signed) the company continued to operate. A circumstance that would make all the documents notified in this period of time illegitimate.
