“There are people already with the check in their hands”

Today, at the end of a short ceremony, the road network between the two historic centers of the city of Faenza, the center and Borgo Durbecco, has been reopened through the new temporary Bailey-type bridge and the Ponte delle Grazie which had been closed to vehicular traffic in May 2023 after the two floods that had heavily undermined the deck. As regards the Bailey bridge, this was built about thirty meters upstream from the Ponte delle Grazie, joining the two banks of the Lamone river between via Renaccio and via Ugo Piazza.

Also surprising was General Figliuolo

The extraordinary flood commissioner was also present at the surprise inauguration Francesco Paolo Figliuolowho specified: “I have already signed some disbursements of funds for private individuals and I’m really happy: the machine works, the funds are there and we continue to disburse. We have 630 million, I have repaid 50% of what was recognized, with the next ordinance we will also reach 100% and we will remove the limits on free construction. Nine months after my appointment I have to say thank you to everyone, to my structure: there are people who have the check in their hand.”
