On the occasion of 25 April, the 79th Anniversary of the Liberation, in Rimini the central moment of the program is the ceremony scheduled for April 25th at 9.45am in Piazzale Roma, at the Deer Park. At the appointment for the laying of the wreath at the monument of the Resistance, the authorities, the partisan, combat and military delegations, students and citizens will meet. The procession will then start from there and end in Piazza Cavour, where the mayor of Rimini Jamil Sadegholvaad and Silvia Zoli, President of Anpi Rimini, will speak (at approximately 11 am) for the celebratory speech.
Always Thursday 25 April – at 9.30 am – to the Settebello cinema square, in via Roma, the start of “Rimininbici” will be held, the ecological cycle ride organized by the Dopolavoro FF.SS. and by the Volunteer Ecological Guards, arriving at 11 am in Piazza Cavour. In the afternoon, at 2.00 pm, the initiative organized by Anpi Rimini will also take place to place flowers on plaques in streets and squares dedicated to partisans and anti-fascists.
Wednesday 24 April, at 5pm in the Cineteca Comunale, a meeting is scheduled with Antonella Salomoni, professor of Contemporary History at the University of Bologna, entitled: “Destroying and transforming the past Reflection on the culture of erasing the past”.
The program of celebrations was created in collaboration with the ANPI section of Rimini, the Institute for the History of Resistance and the Contemporary Age (ISREC) of Rimini and the Rimini Women’s Coordination.
He also returns to Rimini “Dance the Liberation”the weekend of Cento Fiori Social Cooperative in the heart of the XXV park April.
It starts on Thursday 25 5pm with the opening act by Eleonora Elettra, at 6pm The Social State in concert, followed at 9pm by DJ Muna feat Ale Paglia in FestivalPark. On Friday 26th the music on stage begins at 4pm with the ChiAmaLa Città musical contest, organized by the Risuona Rimini association. The main event is at 9pm with Legno in concert. The show will be on Saturday 27th in the afternoon
Saturday 27th at 4pm show Tra le viole, while from 8pm the DJ set is the prerogative of the music inherited from the two temples of Rimini rock Velvet and Slego. On Sunday, however, music and sport for adults and children: it’s A wheel free Bike fest, organized by CSI and numerous cycling associations. A Pump trek track will be set up, i.e. a closed circuit track for very young people. A round table on nutrition and training will take place at 3pm. 5pm DJ set with Marco Corona, from 9pm Nashville and Backbones in concert. Good fun.
TO Santarcangelo This year too, the 79th anniversary of the Liberation and Labor Day will be celebrated by the event “Now and forever! Resistance to Work Rights”which starts again on Thursday 25 April to end on May Day.
The review will begin right away Thursday 25 April with the institutional celebrations for the Liberation, the procession along the streets of the center and the music from the city band. The meeting is scheduled for 9.45 am at the Suffragio church, where mass will take place at 10 am. Departure of the procession at approximately 10.45 am, at the end of the function: together with the “Serino Giorgetti” band, authorities and citizens present will travel through the streets of the center up to the Supercinema Arena, where the mayor Alice Parma and the president of the Anpi di Santarcangelo, Giusi Delvecchio, before the musical conclusion entrusted to the choral group of the Franchini middle school. In case of bad weather, the procession will end under the portico of the Town Hall and the institutional interventions will take place in the “Maria Cristina Garattoni” council room.
Tuesday afternoon 25 April the “Assault on the sky” event, an Anpi event, returns with the seventh edition dedicated to the little ones. From 3pm at the Supercinema Arena boys and girls will be able to celebrate the Liberation with games, colors, drawings and the “Let’s build a spaceship together” workshop of the Infine Scienza association, while around 5.30 pm a snack will be offered to those present (all activities are free).
The review continues Friday 26 April at 9pm in the library with the presentation of the volume “Italian cuisine does not exist. Lies and false myths about so-called typical products” (Mondadori, 2024), in the presence of the author Alberto Grandi. At the end of the meeting – also in this case organized by the Anpi of Santarcangelo – a small tasting will be offered to those present.
It will instead be renewed on Sunday 28th April at 3.45 pm the appointment with the “Strade di Liberazione” guided itinerary on the trail of the Santarcangiolese Resistance. The route, which will start from the Anpi headquarters under the portico of the Town Hall, is part of the project “Memory of places, memory of voices”, born from the will of the anti-fascist citizen committee, created by the Municipality and Anpi in collaboration with the Baldini library, municipal museums and Pro Loco. The event will close on Wednesday 1st May with events for Labor Day: in the morning, the traditional Agriculture Festival curated by Cia Romagna it will return to animate Piazza Ganganelli and the streets of the centre, while in the afternoon in the Francolini park it will be possible to participate in the Party popular of the workers organized by Anpi.
“Now and forever!” it is an event created with the coordination of the anti-fascist citizen committeea working table chaired by the mayor Alice Parma which brings together the municipal administration, Anpi and other local associations, public institutions, trade unions, schools and local political forces.
