The Shareholders’ Assembly of the Credito Cooperativo Romagnolo, gathered in ordinary session, will take place on Saturday 4 May, starting from 2 pm, at the Cesena Fair Congress Center (entrance on Via Dismano 3845), for the approval of the 2023 Budget and other resolutions falling within the competence of the Shareholders’ Meeting, and in an extraordinary session for the implementation of updates to the Articles of Association and other decisions common to all the banks belonging to the national BCC ICCREA Group. The President Roberto Romagnoli and the General Director Daniele Bagni will present the management performance and the results achieved in 2023 to the Members.

“We like to underline how Members and Customers have appreciated our approach and our proposals for the management of their savings – states Director Bagni – an activity confirmed by the growth in Total Funding which exceeds 1.6 billion euros (+6, 2%). Support for families and businesses continued with regard to the provision of credit, even if the high rates and the economic slowdown have slowed down the request for financing, above all the reduction in loans (-4.4%) is attributable to the important “de-risking” action of impaired loans implemented by the Bank. Also considering the last transfer of anomalous loans completed in the first months of 2024, BCC Romagnolo reduced the gross NPL indicator (i.e. the ratio between impaired loans and total loans) to 3.40% and the net NPL even to 0 ,55%. Costs confirmed the reduction trend that began a few years ago (-5.6% compared to the 2022 figure). The net profit for the year stands at 12.5 million euros, an important result which reflects positively on the capital profile of the Bank, a solidity represented by the CET 1 at 19.6% and the Total Capital Ratio at 22.0% .

President Romagnoli highlights how “The positive results achieved in 2023 allow us to continue to support the many social, cultural and sporting initiatives that enrich the territory for the benefit of local communities. Last year BCC ROMAGNOLO dedicated an effective sum of over one million euros to the territory including contributions to organizations and associations, support initiatives and interventions attributable to the damage caused by the flood, advantages and facilities for the benefit of members. An action that is also recognized and demonstrated by the increase in customers (over 36,000) and by the increase in members who reached 7,614 at the end of 2023”.

The President renews the invitation to all Members to attend the Assembly on 4 May in large numbers with the hope that “there will always be the widest participation in the Bank’s initiatives and in particular in the Assembly which this year is even more important as an extraordinary session is also planned for the necessary implementation of some updates to the Articles of Association, the new version of which has already been submitted, by the Parent Company Iccrea, for prior authorization by the ECB”.
