Big changes in sight for the TV broadcast of Formula 1, free-to-air TV rights: great enthusiasm for the fans
New race weekend in sight for Formula One, with the last non-European race before a long phase in the old continent, in the central part of the season. On the sixth date, racing cars ready to hit the track in Miamifor the first of three annual GPs in the United States.
Third edition of the GP in Florida, at the Miami international racetrack. Until now, an exclusive hunting ground by Max Verstappenwho won with his Red Bull in 2022 and 2023.
Two years ago, the Dutchman still struggled to hold off the Ferraris of Leclerc and Sainz, both on the podium. Last year, however, a decidedly easier victory, with Sergio Perez watching his back. And the Reds are far away, with a fifth and seventh place.
Scenarios that seem equally favorable to the world champions, as in Japan and China they promptly re-established the distances, after the defeat suffered in Australia. Ferrari wants to confirm itself as the second force on the track, but seems unable to put its rivals in further difficulty. A stage that will still be important to evaluate further progress of the Reds.
As always, Formula One is followed with great interest by fans, especially while waiting for 2025, the year in which Lewis Hamilton will be at the wheel of Ferrariand 2026, when the regulation change it could turn all scenarios upside down. It’s not always easy for fans to follow the races, given that there has been a monopoly on pay TV for some time. But things could start to change.

In fact, a new free-to-air channel is launched, for the benefit of all motoring enthusiasts. A channel that will however be visible only in the United States.
This is Formula One Channel, a streaming channel that will be active 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A rather captivating and varied proposal, with analyses, documentaries, broadcasts of past GPs, reruns and highlights of current races. The streaming channel will be available without any type of subscription and can be used on services such as Samsung TV Plus, Amazon Freevee and Pluto TV. The intention is to make it a reference in the sector and encourage the American public to watch it.
