Leclerc, special helmet at Imola F1

Charles Leclerc pay homage to Italy. In the GP of Made in Italy and Emilia Romagna, scheduled for the weekend on the Imola circuit (here the TV times with live broadcasts from Sky, NOW and TV8), the Monegasque from Ferrari will in fact use a special helmet, with a tricolor livery. “I put the Italian flag on it because we run to Imolanear the Ferrari house which is a little as if it were my home – Leclerc’s words in a clip -. I like it a lot and we hope it can make us go fast, which is the most important thing.” The main novelty, rather than in the design, lies in the insertion of a green band to complete, together with the red and white ones of the flag of the principality of Monaco, the tricolor.

push, upgrades and pole

The Cavallino driver has one precise strategy for Imola, where he is confident in the support of the public (“I would like to see numerous fans in the stands: they always give a great push and I hope to give them a bit of joy) with an SF-24 which presents itself with a update package: “In the first part of the championship we struggled in the slow corners and these updates had been conceived months before, so the objective of this package is not yet updated with today’s evidence, but it should be a step forward – says Leclerc -. The value of the new package will have to be tested on the track, but it certainly should be a step forward, even if Imola is not the ideal track to find out and perhaps we will have to wait for other tracks before seeing the full value of the new features: here I expect, as always, a very strong Red Bull, but also a McLaren that goes well. But we must dare and aim for pole because qualifying makes the difference here and starting from the front matters a lot.”
