Properties, cars, a “Riva” motorboat and Rolex seized from the Finance Company

They emerge new details from the operation conducted by the Cremona Financial Policeaimed at combating an association dedicated to tax fraud, in collaboration with the Provincial Commands of Brescia, Bergamo, Padua, Verona, Bolzano, Treviso and the Air and Naval Operations Department of Como, all recipients of the precautionary custody order have been traced (4 in prison, 3 under house arrest and 5 recipients of disqualification measures) issued by the investigating judge at the request of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Brescia.

In carrying out the search at the home of an entrepreneur from Adro (BS), recipient of the measure of precautionary custody in prison, de facto director of construction companies that allegedly used invoices for non-existent operations for 26 million euros and laundered the illicit proceeds accrued through the transfer of 3 million euros to an Austrian company and another in the province of Padua, large quantities of banknotes were found.

In particular, 1,600,000 euros were hidden in the attic, 1,200,000 euros in a room used as an office, 700,000 euros in a safe, 100,000 euros in a bedroom and 1,400,000 euros in a false bottom of a wardrobe, also discovered thanks with the help of a “cash dog” dog unit of the Provincial Command of Bergamo which proved to be fundamental in finding the currency hidden in the false bottom.

As part of the other interventions, in addition to various bank accounts, 20 properties, 18 vehicles, a 15 meter “Riva” model motorboat, 8 Rolex watches and numerous gold jewels were seized.

It should be highlighted that the discovery and subsequent seizure of assets and large sums of money, proceeds of criminal activities, symbolically takes on a “social” value, since itallows us to give back to the community wealth accumulated over time from economic and financial crime.

The Fiamme Gialle specify that the precautionary measures carried out were issued on the basis of the evidentiary elements acquired during the preliminary investigation phase, therefore, pending the final judgement, the presumption of innocence exists.
