There are seven key points around which Luciano Rova and the new Council have built the programmatic lines that will guide the activity of the next three years:

1. Mutua as a choice of field: convinced adhesion to this corporate form which better than any other combines objectives of wealth creation and collective well-being.

2. Technological development: focus on technological innovation that improves the service to members and agents and optimizes the efficiency of internal activities. At the center of this strategy is the advanced use of artificial intelligence, integrated into several key areas of the organization.

3. Solidity for the benefit of members: pursuing the financial solidity of the Company to protect it from macroeconomic dynamics and catastrophic events and thus be able to concretely develop mutuality.

4. Relationships with the territories: strengthen the inclusion process, creating contact figures within the Mutual to guarantee continuous exchanges and relationships between the territories and the Governance, with the aim of enhancing the mutualistic peculiarities.

5. Relationships with the agency network: the over 600 ITAS agencies in Italy represent the main point of reference for the Company’s development, with an ever-increasing number of Intermediaries.

The agents constitute the link between the Company and the members, and it is mainly through them that ITAS can reach the members and understand their requests and needs.

6. Investing in internal resources: increasing efficiency and service of internal staff for the benefit of members. The employee is the face of the Company and embodies its ideals, demonstrating that he knows how to be part of a community that favors relationships and places the person at the centre.

7. Good governance: valorisation of synergistic skills, discussion of ideas and strategies, assiduous and active presence at board activities, express a successful corporate governance model for all company components. Sobriety, ethics and respect for ideas and strategic plans will be fundamental pillars of ITAS Mutua’s development policies.

In addition to the appointment of the new President, the Board of Directors also completed the other governance structures which were defined as follows:

Alberto Pacher Deputy Vice President
Franco Dalla Sega and Gottfried Tappeiner Vice Presidents

Internal control and risk committee:

Daria de Pretis President
Giovanni Tarantino Vice President
Paola Inverardi
Eva Knack

Nominations and remuneration committee:

Maria Emanuela de Abbondi President
Domenico Rocco Siclari Vice President
Tanja Pichler

“I am particularly satisfied with the balance achieved with these appointments – commented Rova – since we have made the most of the very high internal skills with an eye to respecting gender representation, an aspect that I believe constitutes a factor of enrichment and useful comparison. In particular, I asked Deputy Vice President Alberto Pacher and the two Vice Presidents Franco Dalla Sega and Gottfried Tappeiner – thanks to their experience and knowledge of the territory – to support me in representing ITAS in the best possible way both in the elective territories of Trentino and Alto Adige, both outside the regional borders where the Company now develops over 70% of its services”.

The duties and all operational delegations of Chief Executive Officer have been confirmed to Alessandro Molinari (53 years old): “A confirmed confirmation desired by the entire compact Board of Directors – highlighted the new President – demonstrating the excellent operational results obtained by the Company under the leadership of Molinari who, in just a few years, together with the rest of the management, has been able to consolidate the Company’s assets, achieving more than reassuring solidity indices that place the Company at the top of the Italian insurance market.

For his part, Molinari, grateful and enthusiastic about the renewed trust at the helm of the oldest Italian insurance company, declared: “The work continues in the same direction, but with a drive to do even better thanks to the solid foundations built in recent years, made of tangible heritage, but also of local and international relations. We will also seize, as ITAS has been able to do on many occasions, the opportunities provided by new technologies which will further drive development and support for our insured members, followed with dedication and professionalism by our now vast agency and intermediation network further down the line. general. I am sure that together with the management, all the employees and our agents we will be able to stand out more and more in the market”.
