ROVIGO – On the evening of 18 April 2024, a coordinated control service arranged by the Provincial Carabinieri Command of Rovigo was carried out throughout the entire territory of the Province. During this service, which saw the use of more than 20 soldiers, were subjected to I control 60 vehicles and 83 people, as well as 13 public establishments – in particular bars – and 8 subjects subjected to various legal obligations (house arrest, residence obligations).
Reported as a whole 12 people for driving under the influence of alcohol, of which one also tested positive for cocaine intake and then reported to the Prefecture.
The same report was made against a 23 year old from Copparo (Fe) who, while driving his car, was found in possession of approximately one gram of hashish. Also within the scope of the checks carried out, a 26-year-old resident of Taglio di Po had his car subjected to administrative seizure as it was without insurance coverage, while a 61 year old from Ceregnano was reported for driving without a licence since previously revoked.
Finally he is reported for the crime of violation of the mandatory exit permit for a 27-year-old resident of Villadose against whom, subjected to checks in the capital together with a group of friends who were causing a disturbance to public peace, the aforementioned provision was issued by the Police Commissioner of Rovigo.
