Terni, the exhibition on The Bauhaus girls opens at Caos

Illustrated at Caos in Terni, the exhibition The Bauhaus girls and the Margarete Heymann case.
The administrators of the municipality of Terni and the organizers of the initiative took part at the presentation conference table.

The opening of the exhibition will be held on Saturday 20 April, at 6pm, in the Carroponte room of the CAOS – Centro Arti Opificio Siri in Terni.
The exhibition is curated by Carlo Terrosi, president of the Cooperativa Le Macchine Celibi, with the scientific consultancy of Roberto Terrosi, former professor of aesthetics at the University of Sendai.

The exhibition celebrates Margarete Heymann – one of the first women to enroll in the Bauhaus art school and an illustrious ceramic designer – and consists of 150 works, mostly ceramics, metal objects and fabrics of the time, and re-editions by the masters of the Bauhaus school . Furthermore, some lithographs by Vasily Kandinsky which are part of the permanent collection of the Aurelio De Felice Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art will be exhibited.

The exhibition will remain open to visitors from 20 April to 1 December, from Thursday to Sunday, from 10am to 1pm and from 5pm to 8pm.
The cost of the full ticket is 10 euros, for students up to 18 years old it is 8 euros, for groups of students over 10 it is 5 euros per person.

On Sunday 21 April, at 5pm, it will be possible to take part in the guided tour conducted by the curator of the exhibition, Carlo Terrosi, included in the entrance ticket. An opportunity to delve deeper into the historical-social context in which the Bauhaus and the artist Margarete Heymann were born.
Other guided tours will be scheduled every Saturday, at 6pm.
