May 1st concert, Morgan against the music of “burps”

(Adnkronos) –
Morgan against the shark market and the music of “burps” from the stage of the Concertone on May 1st. the set opens with the song “Sì, certa l’amore”, then Morgan reads on stage a praise to Italian music loved all over the world (“allegro and adagio are two Italian words but they are used all over the world”) and a call for politicians to increase their consideration of music. “Today is a day of celebration because the workers are celebrating and I want to thank all the people who are working on this show. They are educated people who have no type of legal protection in this country. Because artists are not considered at all, they are not respected by politics. From politics, no, but from the people, yes, because staying without music means having a worse life,” says Morgan.

Then, adds the artist: “This is your party, because you have worked and you want the show. We give a round of applause and tell the politicians that we Italians are inventors of music all over the world and leaving artists without legal protection in the hands of the vulgar shark market is not worthy of the Italy it should be.”

At the end of the monologue, Morgan sings an unreleased song whose refrain denounces “they publish burps”, which is a fierce criticism of the quality of the music that is the most popular in the charts in recent years. Finally she sings ‘Altrove’ and then duets with Noemi at the end of the song. The performance is faded at the end to leave the line to Tg 3.
