Overcoming the Euregio borders with “Fit4Co”: until 15 July to apply for cross-border projects – Bolzano

BOLZANO. Cooperation inEuregio Tyrol-Alto Adige-Trentino has made notable progress thanks to successful projects such as the Euro-regional avalanche bulletin or the introduction of Euregio-Tickets for local transport. As part of the second edition of the interregional program “Fit for Cooperation“, “Fit4Co“, it is now possible to present new projects and implement them with the support of experts.

During the information event held yesterday morning (April 18) at Palazzo Widmann, in Bolzano, further 60 Interested participants were able to receive information on new edition of this program financed by the European Union.

After the presentation by the program coordinator, Matthias Finkthe general director of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, Alexander Steinerthe director of the European Division of the Province (managing authority of the Interreg Italy Austria 2021-27 programme), Martha Gärberand some of the participants in the first edition, such as Günther Geier (Office of Meteorology and Dams), Irmgard Hitthaler (RM GAL Pusteria Valley) e Margit Laimer (Personal Development Office).

«Fit4Co offers participants the opportunity to work on cross-border topics in collaboration with professionals in the fields of project management, project financing and intercultural working. These projects make an important contribution to strengthening cooperation in the Euregio and transcending borders,” he explains Alexander Steinergeneral director of the autonomous province of Bolzano.

All public administrations, social partners and regional management bodies of the Tyrol-Alto Adige-Trentino Euregio and also of Carinthia, Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia (Euregio Without Borders) and Salzburg are invited to develop cross-border projects . They are supported by experts in the areas of project management, project financing and intercultural working.

For the Tyrol-Alto Adige-Trentino Euregio, the joint Euregio office in Bolzano is responsible for the organisation. It is precisely “Overcoming borders”, the slogan under which the autonomous Province assumed the rotating presidency last October.
