The road education initiative involved hundreds of students from across the province

The series of meetings promoted by the Automobile Club of Italy for the Edustrada 2023/2024 project in schools of all levels in Modena and its province ended in Carpi, in the Don Milani school of the Carpi 3 comprehensive institute. The ACI Modena project this year involved many schools including the Meucci Institute of Carpi, the Guarini Institute of Modena and the Levi Institute of Vignola. “A great success – states the ACI – with various topics addressed such as “Vehicle and road safety”, “the effects of distraction while driving” and “weak road users”: a complete road education dedicated to younger ones, but also to older students, newly licensed drivers and those preparing to obtain their driving licence”.

“We will start again with the project in November 2024 – he explains Antonio Tempesta, Sole Director of Aciservice Modena – increasingly convinced that the teaching of road safety education must start from the very youngest. They will also be the ones to give instructions to adults for safer and more responsible driving, raising awareness of respecting the rules of living together on the road. We thank the Headmaster Tiziano Mantovani who believed in the national project of the Ministry of Education for road safety education in schools with the partnership of Automobile Club Modena together with the class 3A team (Anna Maria Barone, Antonella Dell’Erario, Sara Dipasquale, Stefania Arcidiacono, Monica Bacchi And Emanuela Romano)”.
