“For me, playing for Como means a lot, I grew up here and spent all the years of my life.” This is how the center forward speaks Patrick Cutrone to the microphones of Radio Serie A regarding his return to the lake shore which will materialize in the summer of 2022: “As soon as I heard about Como’s interest I didn’t want to hear anything else, it was the right choice. The club provides us with everything to do well, there is attention to detail. Even from a personal point of view this season is more than positive. Now, however, it is important to stay with our feet on the ground to aim straight at the goal.”
Then there’s room for the race towards Serie A: “It would be a dream, an indescribable emotion. Even more from Como. There are 5 games left and I don’t want to think about it. In recent years I have suffered from many matches and from the limited playing time available. I would really like to take this satisfaction away.”
Finally, a thought for Milan, the club where he played: “If we were to meet him it would mean we had been promoted (laughs). I am attached to the Rossoneri and I have no regrets about my experience at Milan. I also remain a fan of Pioli’s team as well as Como. – concludes Cutrone – Things went like this, but I have greater regret for other experiences, not for the one in Milan. Now I’m happy, that’s what counts.”
