New flag and banner for Cremona: presentation to the Council on Monday
Descriptive text here

There is the coat of arms but there is neither flag nor banner: Cremona found itself without the civic emblems of the city. Next Monday in the city council, the last of this administrative mandate, the official sketches of the flag and banner of the city of Cremona will be shown. It is the outcome of a process started some time ago with the presentation of a motion by the League which was followed by a competition of ideas announced by the Presidency of the Council.

President Paolo Carletti yesterday brought together the Bureau with the function of a permanent council commission, explaining that it was the Heraldry Office established at the presidency of the
Council of Ministers to communicate that Cremona does not have a banner.

“What we call a banner – he explained – is not the banner of the city of Cremona, because it does not exist in documents. The Heraldry Office gave very stringent instructions for the banner which must contain the city colors and the city coat of arms, so it was done.”
