The Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Arezzo are daily engaged in territorial control activities and repression of crimes, including environmental crimes and deriving from uncivilized behaviors that disfigure the environment and the landscape both from an aesthetic and health point of view.

In recent days, the Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Arezzo, in an isolated area in the Alpe di Poti area, identified and seized a large pile of special waste consisting mainly of iron, plastic, construction and demolition debris uncivilized abandoned on land owned by an agricultural company.

The investigations coordinated by the Judicial Authority and conducted by personnel of the Judicial Police Section of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Arezzo, who after the report went to the site to collect some clues, subsequently the activities allowed the acquisition of some evidence and the identification of the origin of the waste, i.e. from a renovation construction site located in a hamlet of the capital, identifying the client, the director of the works and the executing company, the latter author of the illicit conduct, owned by a forty-five year old resident in Arezzo, already known to the police force, who has been reported and will have to answer for the criminal crime of abandonment and illicit disposal of special waste, which in the next few days will be recovered and disposed of in the prescribed manner.
