Ceccarelli and her teammates, after the victory against Stella Azzurra at home, have regained sixth place and are determined to maintain their good position in view of the playoffs. On Sunday 21st, at 6.00 pm, the yellow and black will be guests of Basket Foxes Giussano, a team forced to win to avoid the playouts. It will therefore be a decisive match for both teams.
Laura Reani, author of a double double last week (10 points and 10 rebounds, plus 4 assists), starts again from the positive match against Stella: “Saturday’s victory gave us a great boost of positivity, it was needed a lot given especially the last period and the changes that have taken place. We are finding our way back, the return of Samira (Berrad) and Marta (Granzotto) was a breath of fresh air. We must continue with the energy and enthusiasm we have faced Roma and we will try to bring home the best possible result.” Giussano needs to win, otherwise it is tied to the results of the other matches, as is San Salvatore: a defeat, with a victory for La Spezia, would take the Sardinians to 7th place. Reani assures: “We will go to Desio to keep sixth place firmly in place and we will fight for every ball without giving up an inch. And we will do so by focusing our attention on their strong points which are certainly the long defense and the shooting guards. We will try to limit them by countering their attack in the best possible way”.
