In the heart of the city of Velletri, a new era in American football has come to life with the birth of the ASD Volsci Velletri. Guided by the desire of 4 boys to bring American football back to Velletri. Despite initial challenges and modest expectations, Volsci Velletri have proven to be an emerging force in the local sporting landscape, gaining the respect of rivals and fans.
The climb
With an iron mentality and unparalleled commitment, Volsci Velletri have made great strides in their second year. Thanks to a combination of individual talent, impeccable game strategy and incredible team cohesion, they overcame every obstacle in their path. In the second year the team was entrusted to HC Diego Bellini, and immediately the change implemented by President Andrea Timoni’s strategy bore fruit and a breath of hope. In the same year the Volsci Velletri brought the first victory in an official championship to the city of Velletri.
Change
The third year is the year of change, after yet another vain attempt to find space in the city of Velletri, the team moves for the 2023/2024 sports season to the magnificent newly built Campoleone facility. In a short time a youth sector was created with the birth of the under 13 team called “OSK”. The constant work of the senior team is reaping the first fruits by remaining unbeaten for 6 consecutive matches, towards the road that will lead to the start of the 2024/2025 championship. Thanks go to all those who are growing together with the team, to those who believed in us and our project, to all those who tried, tried and fought.
