Guerrina Piscaglia: 10 years ago she disappeared. The Arezzo court declares his death

Guerrina Piscaglia

BADIA TEDALDA (AREZZO) – There has been no news of Guerrina Piscaglia since 1 May 2014. 10 years have passed since the fifty-year-old housewife from Ca’ Raffaello, in the municipality of Badia Tedalda (Arezzo), where she lived with her husband Mirko Alessandrini and his son Lorenzo disappeared into thin air. Her body was never found. From today, May 1, 2024, the Arezzo court declares her presumed death.

A story that culminated, at the end of the investigations, which started three months later due to a late complaint (a voluntary removal was thought), with the arrest and conviction of Father Gratien Alabi, parish priest of Ca Raffaello, “framed” by a text message and sentenced to 25 years for the woman’s murder. According to judges of all levels of judgment, the priest would have had an affair with Guerrina which culminated in the crime and the concealment of a corpse.

Meanwhile, the civil lawsuit brought by some of the woman’s relatives is still ongoing with a request for one million euros in compensation. All this without Guerrina’s body ever being found.
