The series of meetings dedicated to health in the elderly continues to promote prevention strategies for healthy and active ageing. The third and final appointment to understand how nutrition, physical activity and cognitive exercise play an important role in the health of the elderly will take place on Monday (6 May) at 3.30 pm and will have as its theme: Physical activity to promote well-being in old age. The speaker will be Riccardo Malfatti, director of sports medicine in Lucca.
The initiative is promoted by the Northern Area Health Education and Promotion Unit.ASL Tuscany North Westwithin the European initiative Feast (Food systems that support transitions to healthy and sustainable diets) with the collaboration ofUniversity of Gastronomic Sciences of Pollenzo and the Sant’Anna University High School of Pisa.
The meeting will take place at the Chiavi d’oro cultural center in Lucca, in via delle Chiavi d’oro 6.
