Given the great demand, the Libero Nocera Cooperative of Reggio Calabria has decided to propose a new training cycle regarding the important figure ofeducational assistantwhich will start in May 2024.
The training course at the Coop. L. Nocera
Among the most requested courses in recent years is that of “technician for assistance with personal autonomy, communication and social inclusion for people with disabilities – Educational Assistant”. For this reason, Libero Nocera has chosen to organize a new edition.
Who is the educational assistant
L’Educational Assistant for disabled students is one professional who interfaces with the class teachers and whose activity is complementary to that of the support teacher:
- operates through differentiated intervention methods based on the pupil followed (emotional closeness, reinforcement, autonomy, motivation, learning);
- identify strategies to ensure the well being of the pupil in the class group and in the school context;
- contributes to outlining and pursuing the teaching/educational objectives set out in the PEI (Individualized Educational Plan).
Requirements and duration
The training course it is intended for max n. 18 students, who are at least 18 years of age, who have a secondary school diploma.
The course lasts 600 hoursdivided into training modules consisting of 188 hours of classroom training and 412 hours of on-the-job training (172 hours of practical activity + 240 hours of internship).
How to sign up
The application for admission to the course, drawn up on plain paper with attached documentation relating to possession of the required requirements, must be submitted to the headquarters of the Cooperativa Libero Nocera in Via Modena n. 14, 89133 Reggio Calabria.
The cost for the participation is €1,300.00 (possibly payable in instalments).
At the end of the course, students who have attended at least 70% of the course hours and who have passed the tests Of examinationthey will achieve a Qualification certificate Of “Technician for assistance with personal autonomy, communication and social inclusion for people with disabilities – Educational Assistant” valid pursuant to and for the purposes of Law 845/78.
