A24: postponement of night closure Assergi-Colledara towards Teramo – News

The Strada dei Parchi concessionaire communicates that, due to the adverse weather conditions forecast for the night between 18 and 19 April, the closure to traffic of the Assergi-Colledara/San Gabriele motorway section towards Teramo on the A24, scheduled from 10 pm: 00 today 18 April to 06:00 tomorrow 19, is canceled and postponed from 22:00 on 22 and 23 April to 06:00 on the following days.

On the days and times indicated above, vehicles coming from L’Aquila/A25/Rome and heading towards Teramo must exit the A24 at the Assergi junction and continue on the SS80, towards Teramo, to re-enter the motorway via the Assergi junction. Colledara/San Gabriele (not recommended) or at the Basciano junction to continue towards Teramo. For long distances and for heavy vehicles heading to Teramo/Giulianova we recommend using the alternative itinerary consisting of the A25 Torano-Pescara motorway, continuing the journey on the A14 towards Ancona up to the Giulianova/Teramo junction and, via the SS80 highway, reach Teramo; alternatively it is advisable to exit the A24 via the L’Aquila Est junction, take the SS17 and the SS153 (Piana di Navelli) to enter the A25 motorway at the Bussi junction and follow it in the direction of the A14 until the Giulianova junction to reach Teramo via the SS80 highway; a further alternative itinerary consists of the following route: exit the A24 motorway at the L’Aquila Ovest junction, take the SS80 to the Valico delle Capannelle, continue along the SS150 and merge onto the A24 motorway via the unmanned Basciano junction.
