Interviewed by colleagues from TuttoC.comthe sporting director of Giugliano Antoino Amodio spoke about the playoffs achieved: “Historical milestone? Yes, definitely. We can say that we have had a truly great championship and it’s not over yet. We have written an important page in the city’s history, something that has never happened before. The result of the commitment and sacrifice made by part of everyone. There is a great job from every member of the club, as well as obviously from the team and the staff. We are proud and satisfied.”

path? Certainly rich and full of pitfalls. Group C has never been more complex and competitive than this year. It’s no mystery that we didn’t start well, the numbers say so. However, we didn’t get upset, we all worked in the same direction, all rowing on the same side. The club gave us serenity and we all did well to reverse course and create a great championship.

The change of coach? It is obvious to say that he had as much influence as the numbers say. The coach arrived and immediately changed the formation, we played brilliantly for practically the entire season. He gave new life, a very specific working method. He is a great professional. At the beginning there was a bit of skepticism, but I was convinced of my choice and in the end with the work we also achieved the results.

What can you expect from the playoffs? They are totally a league apart with a decidedly particular format. There is no point in making predictions, it is clear that there are teams structured to win and get to the end. In the meantime we are closing the season well, it would be important to play the first round at home. Then with our strength and without fear we will go and play the play-offs.”
