It will be named after the figure of Pasquale Massaro Friday 19 April starting from 10.30 am the roundabout between via Montegrappa, via Verdi and via Bisceglie right outside the institute where he was the first educational director, namely the “Verdi” school. The naming desired by the Municipality of Andria and approved by the institution’s toponymy commission starts from a request formalized by the Massaro family to remember a figure who marked the world of school, journalism, associative activity and Andria politics.

A multifaceted figure, a man of refined culture, historian and writer as well as a family man and grandfather for whose memory there will be a ceremony thanks to the precious collaboration with the “Verdi-Cafaro” Comprehensive Institute.

The event will be attended by the Mayor of the city of Andria Giovanna Bruno, the Headmaster of the “Verdi-Cafaro” IC Grazia Suriano, the Massaro family and the civil, military and religious authorities of the area as well as the children of the “Pasquale” nursery schools Massaro” and “Mauro Carella” with a representation of the “Fantasia di note” stable choir of the “Verdi” and the Council of the Children’s Institute.

Common objective to remember a master of life who gave his entire existence to the need to build the future of an entire territory through sharing, commitment and strategy. The perfect “laboratory” was the “Giuseppe Verdi” School which will be the most correct scenario for this celebratory event.
