“There can be no PD without participation”, the membership campaign for 2024 begins

The 2024 membership of the Democratic Party starts this weekend, with various clubs in the city that will be open to all those who want to renew their membership or join.

“The openings of the clubs – states the Democratic Party Secretary Lorenzo Plumari – as well as being the moment to register or renew membership in the party, therefore representing a strong and effective tool for supporting the party’s action at a local, regional and national level , have always been an opportunity to meet and discuss the political situation with particular attention, at this moment, on the upcoming electoral challenges. In fact, the municipal and European elections of 8 and 9 June are approaching. Two important and strongly connected moments, because we are aware that our dimension must be the European one. In Europe, in the coming years, the future of our local communities will also be written: the right to health, the right to housing, the right to education, digital transformation and ecological conversion are the issues that we have put at the center of our political agenda, both local and national. , and which we are discussing with citizens, trade associations and trade unions in recent weeks”.
