The financial police of Sesto San Giovanni seized 133 thousand counterfeit items worth half a million euros: three reported
The fight against counterfeiting is one of the main missions of the Guardia di Finanza and, in the last few hours, the agents of Sesto San Giovanni have got their hands on a truly large round of fake and counterfeit perfumes. What caught his attention were some online advertisements for the sale of perfumes which, for the brands declared, were really too cheap: here’s what emerged.
The declared brands are some of the best of the moment such as Dior, Chanel or Creed but the prices are exaggeratedly low, for the average values of these fine fashion houses. It is for this reason that the Guardia di Finanza has set its sights on this large and deep-rooted counterfeiting ring: 133 thousand items have been seized and charges were filed against 3 people.

The details of the kidnapping
In the goods seized by the Guardia di Finanza agents there are not only perfumes but also labels, caps and packaging. In particular, There are 55 thousand perfume packages which featured the brands of YSL, Gucci, Guerlain, Dior, Creed, Cartier and Chanel, while 79 thousand items used for packaging including caps and labels, also with counterfeit brands.
If the three people reported had managed to place all this material on the market, the sale would have generated an illicit profit of around half a million euros. There are therefore three suspects: their bases were found in Seregno in Monza-Brianza, Argelato in Bologna and Rovellasca in Como. Together with the perfumes and packaging material, 13 thousand euros in cash were also seized.
