Typical Local Organic: freshly harvested Valchiusella birch sap is arriving

For Bio Tipico Locale Saturday 20 April at NaturaSI’ in Asti in Piazza Porta Torino 14 day dedicated to Birch Sap from ValChiusella: the collector Davide Ionia Grifone will present this extraordinary natural product which was collected in this period.

The sap is extracted in spring in the birch woods located in the Canavese municipalities of Issilio and Ruelio and next Saturday there will be the opportunity to taste and purchase it.

Birch sap is a mine of beneficial properties for our body: remineralising, diuretic, anti-inflammatory, support for the immune system and beneficial for muscles and joints.

It generally comes from the woods of Northern Europe and Canada; Davide strongly believed in this project for a 100% Italian birch sap harvested near us.

The Rava and Fava Cooperative immediately supported this beautiful project. Next Saturday Davide will talk about his experience and the methods of collecting the sap (carried out appropriately without harming the plant) and its innumerable properties.
