Nissan will sell them electric scooters and electric quadricycles from Silence through some of its selected dealerships. The car manufacturer has in fact announced that it has expanded its electric mobility offer thanks to a new agreement with Silence, a company of the Acciona Group.
Starting from June 2024, Nissan will distribute the Silence product range through its commercial network in Italy and France, and from September also in Germany. In particular, it will be possible at Italian dealerships buy Silence S04 Nanocaran electric quadricycle that we have already talked about several times.
Nissan says that the price of Silence productswhich may vary from country to country, will be communicated over the next few weeks.
THE ELECTRIC QUADRICYCLE
Electric quadricycles are very interesting means of moving easily on the increasingly chaotic streets of large cities. Silence S04 Nanocar is available in L6e (light quadricycle) and L7e (heavy quadricycle) variants.
More specifically, Silence S04 Nanocar L6e has a range of 175 km and a maximum speed of 45 km/h. The L7e version, however, offers a range of 149 km and a maximum speed of 85 km/h. In both models, the electric motor is present two 5.6 kWh batteries. The interesting aspect is that they can be removed to be easily recharged at home from a common socket. Peculiarity, the accumulators can be transported like trolleys using a removable handle.
Silence S04 Nanocar measure 2,282 mm long, 1,268 mm wide, 1,573 mm high, with a wheelbase of 1,582 mm. The electric quadricycle can be managed remotely through the My Silence appwhich offers digital services, including keyless access, vehicle localization, monitoring of range and battery charge status.
Discussions are ongoing between the two companies to offer other Silence electric micromobility options in the future, capable of meeting a wider range of both personal and business needs. All that remains is to wait for details on prices for the Italian market. In this regard it must be said that last year Silence S04 (L7e version) debuted in Italy thanks to Exelentia with prices starting from over 16,000 euros.
