The Carabinieri of Terni arrested a 25-year-old of Kosovar origin who was unequivocally believed to be the perpetrator of two thefts which later turned into improper robberies.

The young man was arrested on Monday morning inside an apartment in Borgo Bovio. His girlfriend, an 18-year-old girl of Ukrainian origin, was also arrested.

The disputed events occurred in early March and early April. In the first circumstance, the man, alone, had removed perfumes worth over 200 euros from a specialized shop in the center of Terni. Discovered by a shop assistant, to ensure his escape, he had pushed her. He was filmed by surveillance cameras.

In the second case, together with his girlfriend, he had stolen some bottles of liquor from a supermarket. Also in this case it was discovered by the director that he tried to block him but was hit with three punches in the face. Outside the shop the thieves were joined by a customer, who was in turn hit with a backpack by the girl accomplice. The two managed to escape without the stolen goods, some of which were shattered and some of which were returned to the supermarket.

Subsequent investigations by the police made it possible to identify the two perpetrators of the thefts and robberies. He ended up in prison, she will no longer be able to stay in Terni.
