On the occasion of the fourth edition of the Certame Nazionale Carabellesiano, a national competition on the work of the philosopher from Molfetta Pantaleo Carabellesethe student from Bisceglie Simona Di Molfettaof the 5A scientific branch of the “Da Vinci” high school in Bisceglie, particularly distinguished herself, placing herself in second place with a score of 92/100.

The competition, organized by the “Da Vinci”-“Einstein” Classical-Scientific High School of Molfetta in collaboration with the Foundation Opera Pia Monte di Pietà and Confidences, was held on 11 April 2024, after a series of preparatory meetings with internationally renowned academics on the topic covered. The students took part in a written test which included a critical argument on the theses expressed by the philosopher from Molfetta as translator and interpreter of Immanuel Kant.

The conspicuous turnout of male and female students from different Italian regions seems to attest that the interest and aptitude for reading and discussing the classics of philosophy are still alive in Italian schools and the success of our student testifies to the care and preparation with the which our school community faces the study of humanistic disciplines such as philosophy in a time in which the world seems to be moving in an increasingly hyper-technological and hyper-technical direction.

To the student Simona Di Molfetta Warmest congratulations from the Director, Prof. Donato Musci and the entire school community of the “Leonardo da Vinci” Scientific-Linguistic-Coreutic High School, hoping that this is only the first of a long series of recognitions for his academic future.
