Bari. “The meeting went well. The majority is compact and intends to pursue the aim of promoting dialogue between the Democratic Party and M5S, despite this electoral moment. To this end, the majority believes it can accept the requests coming from the Democratic Party for a clear change of phase through the indication of very high figures who will be proposed by the parties and who represent, and strengthen it, the history of the regional administration which has always been based on respect substantial and formal nature of legality, of the fight against the mafia and of the fight against any exploitation of politics.
The majority also reiterated that the council has never been involved in the latest judicial events with reference to its institutional activity, which has always been based on respect for the principle of legality and impartiality.
Finally, the majority deemed it possible to accept the requests of the M5S with reference to the signing of an operational pact that strengthens the safeguards of legality and in particular with the constitution, which is susceptible to the detection of irregularities.
