04.30.2024 – 08.00 – Telling the good practices and innovative projects implemented by Public Administrations, to improve the quality of processes and services, starting from employee training: this is the objective of New AwardPA FVGwhich in its second edition saw the Mountain community of Carnia.
The object of the award is the mentoring and professional placement activity aimed at new employees of the local authorities in the area carried out by the district authority. The initiative is carried out with the aim of helping young people to enter the Public Administration, enhancing people, making them protagonists of the local development of their territory and protagonists of the future of their community.
Established by ANCI (National Association of Italian Municipalities) and COMPA FVG (the ANCI Foundation for the training of administrators and public employees), the NuovaPA FVG Award is a precious tool for describing the change in the PA and for overturning the collective imagination of a static reality, distant from people and plastered by bureaucracy. The projects presented tell stories of a PA that listens and creates situations to carefully gather the needs of citizens, that questions itself and seeks new solutions.
To receive the award, during a ceremony held at the Confindustria Udine headquarters, a representation of administrators and the manager of the district body, Daniela Peresson, who comments on the recognition as follows: “Local authority employees today are required to be highly multidisciplinary: they must be versatile, often dealing with not one, but two or three offices. These are very challenging demands for new hires. In some cases this difficulty has turned into abandonment, therefore a general loss for the entire context. From here the idea of training new hires was born, therefore not only selecting them in a different way, but also accompanying them in a significant phase such as the first period of work. We called him onboarding structured.”
In addition to the mountain community of Carnia, the Municipality of Pordenone, the Community of Eastern Friuli and the Municipality of Sappada-Plodn were awarded.
