He would have been beaten and stabbed. A twenty-six year old from Cianciana was rescued and transferred in “red” code, by 118 helicopter, to the Sant’Elia hospital in Caltanissetta. He is in bad shape, but luckily for him his life is not in danger. Doctors diagnosed bad cuts on his leg and a head injury. The man – according to what transpires – was attacked in Cianciana, on the Martiri climb. It is not clear what triggered the discussion between two men who had probably arranged to meet for clarification. Perhaps old diatribes or perhaps – as rumored – sentimental issues. In fact, and this is a certainty, the twenty-six year old was attacked and was seriously injured, so much so that the 118 air ambulance took off from Caltanissetta.
The police are investigating the attack. It will be up to them to clarify what happened and identify the perpetrator of the attack. Which – according to what is rumored in the small town of Cianciana – has already been done. And it should be a forty-year-old worker. Developments, inevitably, can only arrive in the next few hours.
