Mazara, the police commissioner La Rosa visits the town hall

The police commissioner of the Province of Trapani, Salvatore La Rosa, visited the municipal building of Mazara del Vallo where he was welcomed by the Mayor Salvatore Quinci.

The commissioner, in fact, following his recent appointment as Director General of Public Security by the Council of Ministers, on the proposal of the Minister of the Interior, is holding a series of institutional meetings in the municipalities of the Province in view of his imminent transfer to another headquarters and the consequent acquisition of a new prestigious position, not yet identified.

“We express to Dr. La Rosa thanks the municipal administration and the entire Mazara community for the professionalism, commitment and dedication that we have had the opportunity to appreciate together with his human qualities in the approximately 4 and a half years of service as Police Commissioner of the Province of Trapani” said Mayor Salvatore Quinci. “In conjunction with the Police Headquarters, we have carried out various activities in terms of safety. I would also like to highlight the event commemorating the thirtieth anniversary of the failed mafia attack on Dr. Rino Germanà which we co-organised. We express to Dr. La Rosa extends our warmest congratulations on his appointment as General Director of Public Security – which crowns his already extraordinary career as a servant of the State – and we wish him well in his work”.

Accompanied by Laura Cavasino, Deputy Chief of Police and director of the Police Department of Mazara del Vallo, La Rosa expressed his thanks to Mayor Quinci, the administration and the community of Mazara del Vallo for their welcome and collaboration.

At the end of the meeting, Mayor Quinci gave La Rosa a gift of the “folder” issued by the Italian Post Office and the State Polygraphic Mint together with the thematic stamp dedicated to the City of Mazara del Vallo.
