Fano, 17 April 2024 – It is not a simple empty hull, still everything to be fitted out, but a complete yachtready to be delivered to the owner, the one that will ‘ply’ the streets of the city center this afternoon.

After Ferretti mega yacht (a 42 meters by 8.50 meters wide, with a hull 8 meters high) which crossed the city a month ago, in the heart of the morning, between two rows of curious citizens, this afternoon the show will be Azimut Magellan 25.

The Azimut Magellano 25 ready to be delivered to the owner

Once again, exceptional transport will be managed Sorcinelli mobile cranesdriven by Michele Sorcinellithe man who moves the giants of the sea.

The decision of the daytime transfer, instead of the more peaceful one night transportis always linked to disconnection of electricity in via Flaminia, near the fire station, necessary for the safe passage of mega yachts under the electricity wires.

Path

The departure is scheduled for 3pm from the Bellocchi industrial area, from there the floating villa will travel along via Flaminia, via Roma up to the Porta Maggiore roundabout, then viale Gramsci, viale XII Settembre, via Cavallotti, piazza Rosselli and then down along the redeveloped viale Battisti up to the corner with viale Adriatico, considered the most critical point of the entire route due to the limited space for maneuvering, between trees and the Cristallo hotel.

“This time – assures Sorcinelli – there will not even be a need to maneuver, from Viale Battisti we will immediately turn onto Viale Adriatico, towards the port”.

The journey it will be covered quickly given the smaller size of this boat compared to the previous two.

The giant’s night transport

The last one, one Benetti yacht 45 meters long, 9.15 meters wide and 9.50 meters high from the ground, the largest boat that has crossed Fano so far, was transported at nightfor safety reasons and to avoid inconvenience to motorists.

The testing

The company was notified of the exceptional transport local policee, but their support has not been requested at this time. The hauliers are self-sufficient: they remove and then reposition the road signs and, when necessary, temporarily block the flow of cars. Once the vessel arrives in port and is put into the water, it will be subjected to a series of tests (we are talking about at least ten days of technical checks), before being delivered to the owner.
