Padel TPRA National Winter Cup Finals

After winning the regional title, the “Mirabella” women’s team ranked among the top eight teams in Italy, losing to Friuli Venezia Giulia in the quarter-finals. A prestigious result for the Reggio team who participated in the final stages at the “Red Padel” club in Rome last weekend.

Captain Carla De Leo, Emy Priolo, Francesca Pacetta, Stefania De Marzo, Anna Giordano and Chiara Pedà, accompanied by the instructor Pietro Pirrello, represented Reggio and Calabria well in the round of 16 against the Sicilian team of Misterbianco, winning two matches out of three, reaching the quarters.

At the Mirabella Sports Centre, increasingly a point of reference for padel in Reggio and beyond, where two more covered courts will soon be inaugurated in addition to the three existing ones, sporting activity continues which also involves men’s training. With the Italian Cup underway, the Serie D championship will start in May and a tournament on the TPRA circuit for fourth-tier finishers is also scheduled.
