LATINA – The State Police – Police Headquarters of Latina, together with the Carabinieri, Financiers and Local Police of Latina, this morning coordinated the clearance operations of a property located in Via dei Latini, subject to confiscation and still occupied indefinitely.
The property was seized in 2017 and subsequently confiscated, pursuant to the so-called anti-mafia code (DL 159/2011) at the end of a targeted investigative activity conducted by the Economic-Financial Police Unit of the Guardia di Finanza against some professionals belonging to a criminal association aimed at perpetrating INPS scams.
The confiscated property was still occupied by one of the suspects together with his family, despite the eviction order issued by the National Agency for the Administration and Destination of Seized and Confiscated Assets from Organized Crime.
This result was achieved following the synergistic activities between the Latina Police Headquarters, the Carabinieri Provincial Command, the Financial Police Provincial Command, the Local Police Command and the National Agency for the Administration and Destination of Seized and Confiscated Assets to Organized Crime, under the aegis of the Prefecture of Latina.
This activity, aimed at restoring legality, is part of a broader project of entrusting assets belonging to crime to institutional bodies.
